The Rotary Club of Peachtree City and the Peachtree City Convention & Visitors Bureau are hosting the 5th Annual International Festival & Dragon Boat Race on September 22nd, 2012.
The 2012 Peachtree City Dragon Boat race is now accepting registrations for the 5th annual race event. The event will be more exciting this year with the brand new light weight ten paddler racing boats and all new equipment.
During the Dragon Boat Races, the International Festival will be taking place on Drake Field. Those attending will enjoy a taste of culture, food, and art from around the world. The festival will include the traditional Kids Korner, a wide variety of entertainment throughout the day on the main stage, as well as an expanded International Food Café area.

Move quickly to join in the fun by being a part of a dragon boat race team. Register your local mixed team or, if you are a business owner, sponsor a team and market your business. Dragon Boat racing is a great team building activity and the sponsorship will provide a time for employees to enjoy a day of fun along with a team building experience, while providing a business with the opportunity of marketing their business to the community.
Most team members are amateurs so don’t be concerned about having to be a “pro” to enter. This is a day of fun and community enjoyment. The team is provided with the Dragon Boat, Paddles, Life Jackets and Training Classes.
